1-2-7-8 Activity Conclusion

We concluded with out class time for the 1-2-7-8 activity.  Students still need to come up with solutions for the following numbers for the entire class to have completed the activity:  25, 33, 52, 60, 91, 95.

Update (2:55 pm):  We are now down to just 52 and 91.

Quiz Corrections/1-2-7-8 Challenge Continued

The quizzes on mean, median, and mode were returned and students were allowed to fix their mistakes.  We then continued with the 1-2-7-8 challenge.

5.7 Quiz

We took a quiz on mean, median, and mode.  There is no homework.

We practiced finding men, median, and mode today.  There will be a quiz tomorrow.

Skunk

I found out this morning that the SmartBoard in my classroom is not working.  Today's lesson was electronic and needed to be presented on the SmartBoard.  We changed course and played a math game called Skunk that is based on probability.  There is no homework.

We used data from students (how many pets they have, how many places they have lived) to find the mean, median, and mode.
