5.2.3 Adding and Subtracting Decimals

Today we added and subtracted decimals.  The 2 important rules to remember when adding and subtracting decimals are: 1) line up the decimal points and 2) fill in zeros so there are the same amount of place values after the decimal point filled in,  Below is a link to today's PowerPoint lesson:

Today's HW - p. 34 #'s 8-12, 18-22 (You do not need to estimate the answer like the directions say.  Just add or subtract to find the exact answer.)
